TRAINING DATES

Over the past few years I have received the occasional email asking when I will be teaching next and where will it be located.

A simple question to ask a travelling instructor.

Starting back to my very first class from 2003 in Bogota Colombia I have taught 35 courses (as of January 1st, 2019), where I have instructed to over 500 professionals.  In addition to this I have assisted and been part of nine Institutes on Bloodstain Evidence presented by Herb L. MacDonell (2005-2010) and I have assisted Canadian government police academies, most recently being 2012. Since retiring in 2015 and no longer a government employee, I am no longer allowed to assist these government training academies.

In 2015/2016 I was part of Forensic Pieces Training team and am currently listed as an instructor with TriTech Forensics (start date July 2018).

After participating in nearly 50 one week courses, 2019 marks the first year I am posting my anticipated training schedule for the coming calendar year.

Please note this schedule is somewhat hydrophobic in nature as the stipulated block of training may be viewed one day only to suddenly vanish on the next without leaving a trace, like water off a duck’s back. On occasion a class maybe rescheduled because of poor attendance.

I have color coded them:

  • Basic
  • Intermediate
  • Advanced

Any one of these courses are $550.00 per person.

If your agency is large enough and in need of training many people at once, this cost can be substantially reduced for I can offer an all-encompassing class price.

I am currently working on the curriculum to deliver an “advanced” BPA class.

I taught such a class in 2015 with colleague Dr. Daniel Attinger, however that curriculum has been dropped.

As of now I am slated to teach a new version of an Advanced BPA class in the fall of 2019. The first class will be in Las Vegas and 6 weeks later in Pittsburgh.

This will be a solo endeavour.

The primary areas of discussion will include:

    • Hemospat Computer Software
    • 3-D Scanning
    • ALS
    • Chemical Enhancement/Treatment
    • Textiles

If you are interested in attending any of these posted classes please contact me.

Or if you recognize and can appreciate the financial advantage of having me attend your facility during a period I am open, please reach out to me.

Hosting immediately earns you a minimum of one free seat in the class (with a maximum of up to four seats) plus you save by not spending on travel, hotel and other out of pocket expenses for each person sent abroad.

In addition to cost savings, as host you are vetting potential course registrants.  This means you are in control of who comes through your agency’s door. Larger training companies do a national marketing blitz gathering any “Tom, Dick, Harry or Sally” who pays them the registration fee. This might include a college student, a defense lawyer, a reporter, or perhaps wanna be crime fiction writer. Any of these individuals could have a nefarious agenda not known at the time while they spend an entire week inside your facility looking, listening and taking it all in.

As host of a See More Forensics course, you control who enters your premises, as that’s the way it should be.

Thanks again for showing enough interest in reviewing my material.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,
Craig
